Examples of Duties • Coordinates the development and implementation of marketing, advertising, and air service development strategies for the Bismarck Airport. • Coordinates the design, layout, and placement of marketing materials, infographics, presentations, and promotional items. • Coordinates the development and issuance of press releases for the airport and will conduct interviews with the media. • Manages the Airport’s website and social media sites. • Interacts with airline marketing and planning representatives to develop partnerships and coordinate marketing and air service development initiatives. • Interacts with the Conventions and Visitors Bureau (CVB), the Chamber of Commerce/ Economic Development Corporation (EDC), and other local and regional groups to develop partnerships, promote the airport’s services and create community engagement. • Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of a baccalaureate degree in a course of study related to the occupational field.
• Two years’ experience in related field required.
• Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position, usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship/internship or having had a similar position for one to two years.
• Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver’s license issued by the State of North Dakota for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.
• Must meet and maintain qualifications pursuant to 49 CFR Part 1542 (Unescorted Access Authority)
