Job Description: Reporting to the SVP of Marketing and Communications, the Executive Director Advancement Marketing serves as one of the lead Marketing Strategists for the Marketing and Communications Division with the goal of advancing fundraising and alumni engagement goals. A strategic-thinker who can translate big-picture marketing vision to implementable operational plans, this individual is a dot-connector who must understand how all of our marketing efforts can work together to build our brand and goals on behalf of the Advancement team. The ED is the University’s most senior level marketing professional responsible for partnering with the Advancement and External Affairs team to understand their business plans, in order to develop marketing plans and then lead a team in driving those plans and all of their elements from concept to completion. This includes engaging with Advancement and External Affairs leadership, presenting to their senior team and attending weekly meetings.
