Marketing - MKT203 Principles of Selling

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teach one or more sections of Marketing Program courses
Prepare course syllabi that meet all contractual requirements
Schedule classes to meet for the allotted time on every scheduled meeting day during the semester.
Cover all department course outcomes
Employ effective instructional strategies including video conference teaching that promotes student learning
Use appropriate assessment tools to accurately measure student understanding of class subject matter.
Monitor email communications from students and the college, and respond in a timely manner.
Contact dean or advising staff as necessary regarding student issues
Meet all deadlines for submission of grades, student participation reports, student grievance responses and other administrative documentation
Salary: Adjunct salaries are dependent upon the number of credit hours. Salary for the course MKT203 Principles of Selling will be $3,396 for first time faculty. This is a non-benefited, MCCC position.
Courses begin the week of January 19, 2021
Submit cover letter that addresses sales process/steps and how you were successful, and resume. Applicants selected for an interview will need to provide the name, address, email and telephone number of at least three current professional references before the interview takes place.
Master's in Marketing or a closely related business field is required
5+ years of experience in outbound sales for a B2B company. (Please Include sales process/steps and how you were successful in your cover letter)
Demonstrated successful achievement of established quotas
Previous sales or marketing leadership experience strongly preferred
Minimum of 3 years experience using sales automation and/or CRM tools: Hubspot, LinkedIn, Salesforce.com
Proficiency using LinkedIn as a sales prospecting tool
Ability to lead and guide sales representatives using the Hubspot Inbound Sales Methods
Proficient using Google tools suite and/or Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Prior teaching or training experience preferred; teaching experience in higher education and/or at the community college level is strongly preferred
Experience teaching online/hybrid and/or embedding the use of technology into the curriculum preferred
A commitment to and experience working with a diverse student body is also required
Candidates will be required to pass a CORI/SORI and/or a National background check as a condition of employment
