FUNCTION: Reporting to the Director of Strategic Marketing & Communications the Digital Marketing Associate develops, enhances, and implements digital marketing strategies for the Academy in support of revenue generation and relationship development initiatives. This role is responsible for creating and leading our successful Digital Marketing campaigns, planning and managing Email marketing campaigns, overseeing our company website and search optimization to grow site visibility and conversion rate. This position will also be responsible for developing reports, analyzing campaign results and managing partnerships.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Regularly maintain and improve the usability, design, content, and conversion of the Academy website
Lead and implement strategies to drive and convert leads using search engine optimization (SEO) and email marketing
Create and maintain landing pages.
Develop, manage, and track digital marketing campaigns using data analytics and research to identify markets.
Provide data driven solutions for management of content in online marketing and social media campaigns
Create monthly reports of website and email analytics, and analyze these reports to drive improvements to the website and email marketing strategy
Partner with Communications and Social Media Director to develop and implement strategic social media initiatives, including advertising campaigns and targeted outreach to generate inbound traffic and prospect nurturing
Develop visually engaging graphics for emails and social media as needed
Manage online brand and project campaigns to raise brand awareness
Evaluate customer research, market conditions, and competitor data
Review new technologies and keep the Academy at the forefront of developments in digital marketing
Create regular reports on successes and areas of improvement for digital marketing
Assist with content creation -graphic design, photography, video
Special event coverage, including some weekend and evening work is expected
Other duties as deemed necessary by the Director of Strategic Marketing and Communications

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of three years of progressively successful experience in digital marketing, preferably in education
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Strong Project Management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
Proficiency with Content Management Systems (CMS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) skills
Proficiency with WordPress, Blackbaud/onSuite, Adobe Creative Suite, social media publishing and listening tools
Proficiency creating digital multimedia for websites and social media (audio/video)
Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy, and best practices
Analytical, critical and strategic thinking skills
Ability to manage personal time and tasks and contribute to a collaborative team
Adaptable to changing priorities, personalities and able to handle multiple assignments concurrently
Ability to prioritize, and take ownership of assigned tasks
Problem solving ability including the willingness to ask difficult questions, and propose solutions and alternatives to tasks
Experience managing SEO, SEM, email marketing, and analytics
Ability to create content as well as identify and generate creative content ideas
Strong organizational and time management skills
Team player, as well as the ability to work independently
