Develop an overall consumer strategy for key brands or disease states based on key insights that drives the necessary behavior change in a target consumer audience
Execute and monitor consumer unbranded and branded promotional and educational strategies, integrated with brand marketing strategies, across multiple channels. These will include broadcast media, in-office advertising and promotion, online videos, search (paid and organic), display, and social media channels.
Manage the internal legal, regulatory, and medical review and approval of new materials to enable responsible consumer communications
Work closely with and manage outside vendors and agencies to develop and execute consumer projects
Partner with Corporate Communications to develop and integrate public relations consumer strategies and programs
Collaborate with digital marketing on consumer strategy (that includes owned, paid and earned media) to improve awareness, engagement and perception of products and/or disease states across key various consumer audiences.
Drive ongoing measurement and process improvements, including digital, audience engagement metrics and campaign ROI
Deliver monthly reporting and campaign insights to leadership.
BA/BS required preferably in the following field of study: Marketing, Management Information Systems, and/or Business Management
Consumer experience: 3+ years
Interactive agency and Pharmaceutical experience required
5-7 years total related experience
Strong consumer marketing capabilities with deep experience in developing and executing consumer campaigns across multiple channels
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Knowledge of regulatory environment and has proven track record of managing tactical design, messaging and execution in industry
Shows ability to use appropriate interpersonal styles and techniques and is able to modify one’s behavior to gain acceptance of ideas or plans
Can build networks to obtain cooperation without relying on authority or supervision
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with and influence a cross-functional, matrix group
Proven ability to effectively lead and collaborate across broad stakeholders to maximize impact
Passion and experience in working with disease education programs
Able to translate business, communications, and user goals into effective, scalable channel solutions.
Well-versed in digital tactics and social media and understands the intersection and integration non-traditional and traditional marketing and communications
Pharma industry knowledge is a plus but not required
Ability to effectively manage agency and vendor resources
Strong budget management skills
