Description: Reporting to the Director of Marketing Strategy and Accounts, the Marketing Accounts Manager is responsible for the project management and implementation of new marketing initiatives for constituents across Emerson's campus. Incorporating an integrated marketing approach, this position is responsible for the intake and coordination of projects, defining project timelines and schedules among marketing team members, and the delivery of finished marketing materials to the requesting departments. Additionally, the Marketing Accounts Manager will be charged with tracking and reporting on campus-wide marketing initiatives, as well as monitoring budgets and production timelines to ensure each initiative is accomplished within the appropriate parameters. Serving as a primary client contact for the Office of Marketing, this individual should possess exceptional customer service skills and have a keen ability to build relationships and foster collaboration among a wide variety of constituents.

Required Knowledge: Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, or related field. Proven track record in marketing and communications planning and execution. Demonstrated expertise in project management. Exceptional customer service skills, a team-oriented attitude, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills. Excellent communication skills including verbal and written communication.
Preferred/Desirable Knowledge: Experience working in a higher education marketing office. Project management software experience (Wrike project management software or similar) or project management certification strongly desirable. Familiarity with Photoshop, InDesign, and/or HTML is a plus. Comfortable presenting to large audiences and fielding questions.
Required Prior Work Experience: 3-5 years of professional work experience with a focus on marketing and communications.
