The Cooperative of American Physicians seeks a digital communications specialist with extensive experience in email marketing. The ideal candidate is a pro at building, testing, optimizing, and sending email campaigns to subscriber lists. This individual knows the value of a great subject line and lead paragraph and is comfortable with multivariate testing. Familiarity with HTML and marketing automation software is a major plus. This position plays a critical role in developing and deploying email campaigns, content marketing initiatives, and digital lead generation campaigns.
This position supports the Marketing and Corporate Communications Department in the development and implementation of digital marketing and communications initiatives for the CAP enterprise. Additionally, the Digital Communications Specialist is responsible for creating and maintaining content for CAP’s digital properties, including the corporate website and social media channels.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan, build, and execute email campaigns for the CAP enterprise. Optimize email campaigns with A/B testing and multivariate strategies while managing numerous lists. Manage the calendar of all email communications and collaborate with internal stakeholders on timing and targeting.
Monitor metrics on all email campaigns and provide regular analytics reports to enhance engagement and improve deliverability.
Support the development and promotion of CAP digital content assets, including practice management guides, human resources materials, webinars, video content, and risk management materials as appropriate.
Maintain and update content on CAP’s corporate website and social media channels in accordance with the editorial calendar.
Write copy for a variety of channels (e.g., print, online, presentations, etc.) that meet corporate communications standards and objectives.
Employee education and awareness is an important element in the company’s cybersecurity program. Accordingly, you are responsible for being cautious and vigilant when opening emails, attachments, links, etc. on CAP’s computer equipment or when accessing the company system remotely. It is also your responsibility to complete cybersecurity training modules that are periodically distributed by CAP’s IT department.

Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related field.
Minimum four years of experience in digital communications and email marketing.
Demonstrated knowledge of email marketing implementation, including writing, design, distribution, and multivariate and A/B testing.
Familiarity with a major email service provider and understanding of CAN-SPAM guidelines. Knowledge of marketing automation software is a plus.
Familiarity with SEO, Google Analytics, and Google Adwords is preferred.
Working knowledge of HTML and content management systems.
