Job Title:Sr. Financial Analyst – Sales, Marketing and Product Management

The Sr. Financial Analyst (SFA) – Sales, Marketing and Product Management is responsible for customer and vendor profitability, marketing program analysis, call data reporting and analysis, sales and margin reporting, department expense analysis and reporting. These include planning, reporting, target setting, bonus and commission compensation design and administration. The SFA is responsible for supporting the overall productivity and effectiveness of the Sales, Marketing and Product Management organizations. Reporting to the CFO, the SFA also works closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the appropriate objectives and priorities are enabled within the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Must have knowledge of and comply with the policies and procedures contained in the Lane Automotive handbook.
Develop and implement customer and vendor profitability model including freight analysis and reporting. Ensure accurate and timely information to facilitate decision making within the organization.
Coordinates sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the Sales, Marketing and Product Management organization and specifically the S&OP process.
Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the Sales, Marketing and Product Management organization’s planning efforts. Coordinates planning activities with other functions and stakeholders within the firm as needed.
Supports the equitable assignment of sales and margin targets and ensures targets are optimally allocated to all sales channels and vendors and are assigned in a timely fashion.
Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvement then works closely with management to prioritize opportunities for improvement. Assists Sales, Marketing and Product Management in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies. Facilitates an organization of continuous process improvement.
Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales and margin reporting and other intelligence essential to the organization. Recommends revisions to existing reports, or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed.
Supports and implements enabling technologies, including CRM and PIM. Monitors the assigned organization’s compliance with required standards for maintaining master data. Works closely with management to optimize the effectiveness of the company’s technology investments.
Provide input to senior leadership in the development and administration of bonus and sales incentive compensation programs.
Working with Sales, Accounting, Finance, and Human Resources, aid with bonus and sales incentive compensation administration on an as-needed basis, or when required to arbitrate or clarify the application of compensation program policies and procedures.
Directs and supports the consistent implementation of company initiatives.
Builds peer support and strong inter-company relationships with key management personnel.
Achievement of sales, profit, and strategic objectives for the organization.
Accountable for the on-time implementation of targets and performance objectives.
Responsible for the efficient allocation of technology, support, and training resources impacting the organization.
Accountable for accurate and on-time reporting of information essential for organization effectiveness.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor Degree required MBA preferred
3 - 5 years experience as a Sr. Financial Analyst supporting sales in a complex B2B environment.
