Coordinate all aspects of marketing, design, mailing and fulfillment of the Foundation’s communication programs, to include annual appeals/report, grateful patient program, newsletter, website and social media.
STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE
Develops the proposed budget for all aspects of marketing fund raising appeals including costs for design, printing, mailing and other related needs.
Works with appropriate vendors on all aspects of design, mailing and coordination of fund raising appeals.
Works with the President, Director of Communications, and others in developing and distributing Annual Appeals and the Annual Report.
Coordinates all aspects of SMH grateful patient program to include patient list management, collateral development, mailings and in-room/hospital marketing.
Works with appropriate vendors on all aspects of content, design, and mailing of the Annual Fund, Grateful Patient, Annual Report and other marketing programs.
Assist with the management of the Foundation’s on-line website content and social media strategy.
Monitor and log monthly advertising and PR clippings
Ensure that messages are supportive of and consistent with marketing branding and strategies.
With direction from the Database Administrator, assists with address changes and other donor information changes as needed.
Coordinates mailings with Special Events Coordinator and Major Gift Officer(s) to avoid confusion by the constituency.
Develop reporting systems to analyze direct marketing results and make well thought out recommendations on campaign performance.
Work professionally, effectively, and efficiently across all levels of the Foundation and Hospital.
Adheres to policies and work rules set for the in Human Resources Practices and Policies including but not limited to the area of appearance, safety, confidentiality, and smoking. Meets Foundation requirements for attendance and punctuality.
Communicates, cooperates and assists in a clear and courteous manner to all visitors, trustees, donors, coworkers, Sarasota Memorial Hospital physicians, staff and patients.
Agrees to maintain confidentiality per HIPAA laws as well as information pertaining to donors, files and other confidential information within the Foundation.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 2 to 3 years related experience or equivalent combination
Previous marketing background preferred
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities, including project management and deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to analyze and integrate information from relevant sources and make informed decisions
Excellent customer service skills
Self-motivated with ability to work within collaborative environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office with a knowledge of Raiser’s Edge preferred.
Detail oriented with excellent record keeping skills
Ability to work independently or in groups
Must have integrity, intelligence, a passion for mission and the ability to work as a team player.
